VanessaPlace Inc. seeks a design collaborator for graphic materials and product design. Founded by conceptual artist and writer Vanessa Place, the company’s mission is “to design and manufacture objects to meet the poetic needs of the human heart, face, and form.” In 2013, VanessaPlace Inc. has launched the book $20, which sold out within the hour, and re-installed the Broodthaers exhibition at MoMA. Help us design our new line of poetry products, from objects to books. Have some affinity with Marcel Duchamp, Constructivism, Lineto fonts and Swiss-with-a-twist (of punk), but also be prepared to lead with your vision for our design. Interested? Write us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to your portfolio, or your pitch, and tell us of your experience and ideas.
If you are a student, this engagement is eligible for college credit at 5-10 hours a week. If you’re located in NYC, a home studio is available.
